Four arms.
One operator.
Hyde & Larkin isn't built around a single service or a single asset class. It's built around a simple idea: operators make better partners. Whether we're consulting, investing, building, or creating content, the same experience and judgment is behind all of it.
GTM support from someone
who's actually run it.
Most GTM help comes from people who've studied it. I've done it. Product launches at Square, Mailchimp, Worldpay, and Zapier. Sales enablement programs built from scratch. Products repositioned mid-cycle. I know what good looks like and I know how to get there with the resources a real team actually has.
Engagements are practical by design. No 90-slide strategy decks. No frameworks that don't survive contact with your sales team. Just clear thinking, fast execution, and honest feedback.
GTM Strategy
Market segmentation, ICP definition, positioning, and go-to-market planning for new products and new markets.
Product Launch
End-to-end launch planning and execution, from messaging and tiering to cross-functional readiness and post-launch measurement.
Positioning & Messaging
Competitive differentiation, value prop development, and message architecture that resonates with actual buyers.
Sales Enablement
Battlecards, pitch decks, objection handling, and training that arms revenue teams to close.
Pricing Strategy
Packaging and pricing tied to customer value drivers, not just what competitors charge.
Fractional PMM
Senior product marketing on a part-time or project basis. All the expertise, none of the full-time overhead.
Sprint Projects
Focused, time-boxed work for a specific deliverable. A launch plan, a messaging framework, a competitive teardown. Clear scope, clear output.
Ongoing Advisory
Regular strategy calls and async feedback as your GTM evolves. Works best for growth-stage teams who need a sounding board with real operator experience.
Embedded Fractional
Deeper, longer-form engagement where I function as part of the team. Attending standups, owning deliverables, driving outcomes alongside you.
The check is
just the start.
I invest at pre-seed and seed, which is the moment when capital alone isn't enough. What most founders need at that stage is someone who can help them figure out how to actually take their product to market. That's where I come in.
The criteria are straightforward: an exceptional team, a defensible moat, a big market, and a clear path to early cash flow. I prefer to go deep on fewer bets rather than spray across a broad portfolio. And I favor founders who know their space better than anyone in the room.
A Check
Pre-seed and seed stage. Ticket size varies by deal and structure.
GTM Partnership
Hands-on go-to-market support. Positioning, launch strategy, sales enablement. Not just a seat on the cap table.
Network Access
Introductions across SaaS, fintech, and AI from 15+ years of operator relationships.
Most investors have never
launched a product.
That's not a criticism. It's just a different skill set. The things that make a great fund manager aren't the same things that help a founder nail their ICP, build their first sales motion, or position against a well-funded competitor.
I've done all of that. When I write a check, that experience comes with it.
Thinking out loud,
on the record.
I share what I'm learning, mostly on LinkedIn. Product marketing, go-to-market strategy, AI, and what I'm seeing as an operator and early-stage investor. It's not a content strategy. It's just how I stay sharp and attract interesting people.
If you follow the work long enough, you'll get a pretty clear sense of how I think. That's by design.
Regular posts on GTM, AI product marketing, and what I'm observing across the companies I work with and back.
Speaking
Conference panels and talks on product marketing, go-to-market execution, and building in the AI era.
Insights
Longer-form writing on GTM frameworks, market observations, and the building blocks of scaling B2B SaaS.
When we see a gap,
we build.
Hyde & Larkin incubates software projects in-house, mostly at the intersection of AI and go-to-market. The idea is simple: the best way to understand what operators and founders need is to build the tools ourselves.
This arm is early. More here as things develop.
